Types of IELTS Tests
There are two versions of the IELTS test:
1. IELTS Academic â for those applying for higher education or professional registration.
2. IELTS General Training â for those migrating to Australia, Canada, the UK, or applying for secondary education or work experience in an English-speaking environment.

IELTS Listening
Duration: 30 minutes (plus 10 minutes to transfer answers in the paper-based test)

- Task 1: At least 150 words (20 minutes recommended)

Test Day Timing
The Listening, Reading, and Writing tests are conducted on the same day without breaks.
